Description:
Here we have an interesting preview pack, from Laz Rojaz, of the upcoming Captain Proton modification for Elite Force One.

Contained in the download are thirty one images at a resolution of 800 x 600, these screenshots provide an interesting look at what work has been done so far and are a great appetizer, for another great looking modification, from the creator of Starbase 11 and Virtual Dreadnought.

Description : Preview screenshots from my upcoming Captain Proton single-player mod for Elite Force.

WHAT IS THE CAPTAIN PROTON MOD?

The Captain Proton Mod is a single-player mission pack for Elite Force and the Elite Force Expansion Pack. It's a project that I've been planning for a long time, but which got put on the backburner for the past three years while I worked on the Starbase 11 and Virtual Dreadnought mods. Earlier this year, I cancelled it due to personal reasons, but I decided to resurrect the project a couple of months ago and decided to release some screenshots of the work done so far.

The full mod will include five 3-map missions, each of them a separate chapter in the Captain Proton saga. Familiar characters such as Chaotica, Arachnia, Buster, and the President of Earth will appear, and there'll be many new characters as well. There'll be lots of new models too, including rocketships and weapons. Among the weapons are the ray gun brandished by Lonzak and Chaotica's guards on "Bride of Chaotica", as well as a more accurate Proton gun than the one included in the Expansion Pack.

Two of the five episodes, "The Secret Lab of Doctor Chaotica" and "Captain Proton vs. the Lizard Men", have been completed, and I'll be releasing them as part of a preview pak in a couple of weeks. The full mod will be released sometime during the first half of 2008.

ooooh, hmmm, all ill need then is a captain proton spaceship for my bc install and i can live out all my holodeck fantasies!

If you're making this out of original stock, it means that people will need the Expansion pack. Keep that in mind. Other than that, this mod will be pwn.
