Hexator - File Description  


Description:
This is Gigon's first EF2 map, and it is rather cool. Check it out for sure if you still have EF2.

- Plasma arena.
- 13 ffa spawnpoints.
- 8 / team spawnpoints.

Gametypes: FFA, Team, CTF.
Modifiers: InstantKill, WeaponScore, ControlPoints, ActionHero, Handicap, Eliminatiom, Specialties.
Bot Support: Yes
New Textures: Yes

Installation:

Put the hexator.pk3 in your base folder or in
your favorite mod folder.

Uninstallation:

Delete the hexator.pk3.

Textures:

It's the first time I use some other creators textures
into my map. I did not modifie them in any way except
for the conversion to dds file. Of course I had to make
some additional texture for my shaders to work properly.
Also I've made some texture to complete the set...

Here's a list of the creators and how their images name
appear into the textures folder:

Images named like: 256_tar_metal01.dds are from:

- Rorshach (www.polycount.com/cottages/rorshach)

Images named like: barrel_rust.dds are from:

- Jerusha Hardman (www.thehardmans.com/jindex.htm)

Images named like: el_crate00.dds are from:

- Gigon (spaces.msn.com/jigjoc/)

Images named like: st_grbase.dds are from:

- speedy (www.planetquake.com/speedy)

You may like to take a look at the original readme file
of each texture set, they're included into the
hexator.zip file.

yes me and explorer aren't the only one's releasing ef2 maps, haven't downloaded yet but looks pretty good, nice work.
