Fish in a Barrel - File Description  


Description:
We have another two for one map pack here from Chila-X, both a deathmatch and a ctf version based upon a map from the old Nintendo 64 game; Turok2. Both versions of the map are slightly different from each other, the deathmatch version is based on the same layout as the Turok2 original where as the ctf version has some added extras, including added exteriors at either end of the map. Something else of note is that both maps follow an Egyptian theme which I believe is a first of Elite Force Files and a welcome change.

DESCRPTION
**********
As with previous maps I made this is again another map based upon a map of the same name for
the N64 game turok2 - Fish In A Barrel.

Two maps are included in the pk3, a deathmatch & a ctf version. The deathmatch version is the
same layout as the turok2 level. The ctf version is an enhancement on the deathmatch version
with an added exterior at each end of the map.

Both maps use Soc's egypt texture sets. The ctf map uses Tim Douthit excellent griffin model.

dm_fiab - A small deathmatch map, there are 6 spawnpoints. Good for a duel or a small number
of players

ctf_fiab - A much larger version of dm_fiab with added exteriors that house each flag.
There are many ways between each flag, some are quicker than others.

INSTALLATION
************
Stick Pk3 in your BaseEF folder, run from menu or console (map dm_fiab or ma ctf_fiab)

KNOWN BUGS

If your playing the ctf game mode on this map the bots can be really stupid.

A very well designed map. The water was a nice touch. The only thing is that the bots are really, really stupid when it comes to swimming, but other than that, it was fun to play.
