Chiroptera DM - File Description  


Description:
The master at conversions has returned, and he did not come empty handed...Lt. Cmdr. Salinga has brought us another of his well made conversion maps, this one is of Alcatraz, Nunuk & Sock's Q3A map, and we are happy to provide it here, for you, the Elite Force community to enjoy! This map was ranked Top 8 in the Top 10 of Q3A maps, so you know you are getting quality here! There is a fragging good time for two to six players just waiting to happen with this download!

Once you fire this map up, Chiroptera DM will keep you on your toes from the moment that you spawn; With the multi levels, you will be pressed to find anything that will offer anything in the way of cover, so you will need to be quick with the dodging and weaving...and even quicker with the trigger if you want to be the one that walks away with bragging rights!

You won't have much time to stand around and smell the roses, but, as you're running for your life, have a glance around...it is very well made and the amount of work, and attention to the cyber-space atmosphere is evident throughout!

Note: If the map does not start automatically after loading then make
sure you have the SV_PURE variable set to 0. I also included an arena
file in the pk3 file so that it can be loaded from the menus.

1. The EF and Q3A engines are 99% compatible, so the Q3A maps are very easily convertable. The work goes mostly into balancing the items for EF, the map itself works from the start (maybe some shader tweaking for minor texture leaks).
2. I don't play EF2.
