CTF Castlewar (v4.0) - File Description  


Description:
It's been a while coming, but Borggamer has dropped by, and he has not come empty handed...he brought with him the newest version of his popular Castlewar map, and we have it here for your enjoyment. Borggamer has been feeling generous with this release, as he has included two maps in this one download.
    castlewarv4
    • This is the 'normal' version of this map that everyone is familliar with, with the exception of changes/fixes over the previous version.

    castlewarv4nt
    • This map is identical to the original, with No Turrets ('nt') being the defining difference. All turrets in this map are disabled, which is useful for FFA gamemodes.

The overall design of the map remains the same, as the name suggests, it still has the castle feel to it, and the ropes are still there to allow for climbing the walls; This map just has a midevil feel to it, with a you and seven of your gaming buddies, the potential for a frag fest is at your fingertips.
    Some changes in this version include:
  • Defense turrets
    • All six defense turrets protect your base as well as your enemies base.

  • New security forcefield system
    • As soon as you found the entrance to the security system, you can activate the security forcefields.

  • Weapons/ammo
    • A few things were deleted and re-placed.

Installation
------------
1. Alle Dateien in den baseEF Ordner von Elite Force entpacken.
(Standart: ../Raven/Star Trek Voyager Elite Force/baseEF/)
2. Star Trek Voyager Elite Force Holomatch starten
3. Die Console mit ^ öffnen und folgendes eingeben:

/map castlewarv4


ODER:

Einen Server starten und in der Mapliste nach "CastlewarV4" suchen. ;-)


Änderungen:
-----------
- neues Kraftfeld-Sicherheitssystem
Sobald der Zugang zum Sicherheitssystem gefunden wurde, kann man auch schon die
Kraftfelder aktivieren. Aber Achtung! Man sollte die Kraftfelder nur im Notfall
verwenden, da sie erst wieder nach einer bestimmten Zeit verwendet werden können.

- Abwehrgeschütze
Beim Start einer Map geht es nun richtig heftig zu:
Insgesamt 6 Abwehrgeschütze schützen die jeweilige Basis, und die Gegnerischen Geschütze
Alleine zu besiegen, ist nicht sehr einfach. Denn die Gegenspieler warten nicht ;)

- Waffen-/Munitionsverteilung
Im wesentlichen ist alles gleich geblieben, aber ein paar Sachen wurden seit der letzten
Version verändert.

- Respawnpunkte
Insgesamt gibt es nun für das Teamspiel 10 Respawnpunkte je Team. Im FFA Modus sind es
12.

- Sonstiges
Gibt noch ein paar kleinere Sachen die verändert wurden, ist aber nichts Großes.

Du darfst diese kostenlose Map auf deinem Server Hosten oder sonst irgendwie verbreiten,
solange du nichts an den Originaldateien veränderst die in der .zip Datei
enthalten sind. Änderungen an der Map ohne meine Erlaubnis sind untersagt.

Installation
------------
1. Unzip all files into your baseEF folder.
(Standard: ../Raven/Star Trek Voyager Elite Force/baseEF/)
2. Start Star Trek Voyager Elite Force Holomatch
3. Open the console with ^ or ~ and type in:

/map castlewarv4


OR:

Start a server and choose the map from the maplist. ;-)


Changes:
--------
- new security forcefield system
As soon as you found the entrance to the security system, you can activate the security
forcefields. But note! You should use the forcefields only in emergency situations,
because you can only use them after some time again.

- Defense turrets
All 6 defense turrets protect your base and your enemys base, and do not try to defeat
the enemys turrets, your enemys will not wait until you destroyed them ;)

- Weapons/ammo
A few things where deleted and re-placed.

- Respawnpoints
Altogether there are 10 respawn points for each team for team play.
In the FFA mode there are 12.

You may host this free mapfile on your server as long as the containments of the .zip file will not be modified in any way.
All other modifications on this map without my permission is forbidden.
