Description:
As I already mentioned on his last map, our poor eMail folder is very lonely without him so here comes another brand-new Q3 Conversion by Salinga.

I believe this is the first map for Elite Force that uses the cel shading technic: Every object looks hand painted by the appearance of a border around it, like you know it from comic books. The interesting part is, that this border isn't static but changes depending from what angle you look at the object.

Looks very good, reminds me of Cel Damage, probably because of the cel shading stick out tongue I've always liked cel shading though, very nice. smile

Just wondering, are the edges patches? I'm just guessing. If they're not, I wouldn't mind knowing exactly what they are, because it's a pretty neat effect.

Q3Map2 allows cellshading. AFAIK it is setup in the worldspawn, which points to a shader describing the border.

Search for "q3map2 cel shading" via Google, and you will find some tutorials about it.

No it's not the first map to use cel shading...

Pacman maps by Gigon used it way before (in 2004), it's not obvious when you
look at the screenshot, but download it and see for yourself...
