Description:
Finally a map to break the file drought wink.

I wanted to create a level that appeared fluid, packed full of curves and flowing architecture, yet using only brush work. With this in mind, I have managed to avoid resorting to patches almost completely. The 4 Jump Pads each have a central patch and that's about it...everything else is done purely with brushes.

Very well done since all the map's geometry is built with brushes. This map, like Salinga's last conversion "Amanda", feels like it belongs in Elite Force because of all the green. If you think about it, the map resembles maybe what romulan ruins would look like. Download now to add Algopole to your Salinga Collection! smile

Thanks dONKEY for one of your maps. Almost all of his maps look stunning and aren't run of the mill at all.

LOL - well, I had no more maps without texture leaks so I am now moving on to the maps with minor texture leaks which I have to resolve by adding shaders which use EF standard textures. So I am waiting now for new green lights from the authors for the conversion and the conversion itself takes a bit longer now since I have to program shaders (mostly sky and effect shaders). Right now there are five more maps I can convert.

In case of this map the jumppads are using EF textures instead of the Q3A ones.

... and the transporter uses also EF textures now. And I forgot: If possible I add EF sound effects to enhance the athmosphere of the maps.
