Description:

This is Marilyn

It is an original Quake 3 Arena map by Rota converted to Elite Force by Lt. Cmdr. Salinga

This is quite an interesting map, especially for a game set in space. The map is set in a cavern with a sandstone-type rock appearance. The map which reminds me of one or two Halo maps is actually really cool with sprouts of foilage and vegetation though none of which provides adequate cover should your camping/sniping skills need testing. Through the rockfaces there are several tunnels leading to large empty rooms connecting the tunnels. There are varius pools and little waterfalls lying around the place but tactically they are of no value but they make some decent eye candy and add to the whole feel of the map.

Weapons and pickups are spread around the map and there are little to no obstacles in the way so combat is clean and fast. It is impressive and is definitely unique for Elite Force so definitely try this baby out!

This is for sure one of the best maps ever for EF1! This would also make a great RPG playground for away missions.

This map doesn't only have the looks and the athmosphere, it has also a smooth gameplay. Instagib is a blast on this one!

If I can convert these maps depends on:
a) the Q3A map has no or very minor texture leaks in EF.
b) the author gives permission.

I have some other maps that could be used for RPG but unfortunatly I could not reach the authors (no response or invalid email address) so I cannot convert them.
